Saturday Afternoon, May 17, 2003 White Mtn Velo lost our founder, cornerstone, mentor and friend, Barry Field.
All of us will find our way back to our bikes. We'll think about Barry, our very first bikes, our first rides with WMV, some crazy new gadget he thought we had to have (and we did), some crazy women's clothes in the shop (what were they thinking?), some trick he played in the shop, some move he made on the bike, ... or whatever comes to mind... and we'll smile & laugh.
Keep your bikes tuned up. Some day we'll meet him on the other side and race him to the next bottom-of-the-hill town line.
